"Very Impressed by this hotel"
I was extremely impressed by this hotel. Managed to get a really good rate through Asiarooms and so was shocked by the high standard of the hotel on arrival. The room was very generous in size and very modern in decoration. The bed was probably the most impressive thing about the room - King size - and at no extra cost. The bathroom was large and had a really nice walk-in shower. The whole hotel was very clean & the staff pleasant. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of options and food was of a high standard. The location of the hotel isn't perfect, although it's only a pleasant 10 minute walk into Bologna city centre, so didn't cause us any bother getting into the centre. Would definitely come here again, although wouldn't be willing to pay the hotels price for the rooms (from €280 per room). Much cheaper rates can be found on the Net.

"Spotlessly clean and modern hotel"
This is a relatively new hotel (opened in October 2004) and there wasn't a speck of dust in sight. We booked superior rooms for the New Year period and only paid 85 euros per room per night (booked through mbetravel.com). Our rooms had an exercise bike (useful as a coatstand!), a jacuzzi bath, an enormous bed, a spectacular view of the Bologna skyline, minibar, toiletries, and a bathrobe. The decor was very simple and tasteful with a good-sized bathroom. We were also shown the standard rooms, the only difference being that they have a shower rather than bath, and they don't have an exercise bike. All of the superior rooms are on the sixth floor, hence the great view of the city. The hotel bar is very nice with a flatscreen TV and comfy lemon leather chairs and sofas. The breakfast was good on the first day with lots of pastries, cereals, fruit etc.. although it wasn't so good on New Year's Day when they ran out of food. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - they made restaurant reservations for us and booked taxis that arrived almost immediately. In terms of location, the hotel is a 10 minute walk along Via San Vitale to the Due Torri. Overall, we got an excellent deal on a 4-star hotel although I expect prices will be higher in the spring/summer as the hotel establishes its reputation.
